About Project
TODE is a modern investment app designed to make wealth growth simple and accessible for everyone, from first-time users to experienced investors. The platform focuses on creating a smooth, intuitive experience where users can start investing in just a few steps, while advanced technology handles the complexity behind the scenes. One of TODE’s core directions is real estate investment in Saudi Arabia, giving users an easy way to explore and invest in a fast-growing market without the traditional barriers and complicated financial processes.
Research
Brainstorming
Through brainstorming and research, I explored ways to make investing more intuitive and accessible. I focused on simplifying onboarding and payment verification, while introducing a personalized dashboard for portfolio tracking and financial insights. Another key challenge was balancing automation with user control, which led to a hybrid investment approach combining automated tools with manual exploration. These ideas were refined through usability testing and user feedback.
User Interviews
To better understand potential users, I conducted interviews with both young professionals and experienced investors. Many participants were interested in investing but felt overwhelmed by the complexity of financial platforms and unclear investment processes. A recurring pain point was the lack of accessible and trustworthy information about investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia, which often forced users to search across multiple sources. Others mentioned high entry barriers and the feeling that traditional investing required significant capital or prior financial knowledge. These insights helped shape a more intuitive and educational user experience focused on clarity, trust, and accessibility.

The user journey map highlighted the challenges and frustrations faced by individuals trying to navigate investment platforms. Many users found existing solutions too complex or intimidating, especially first-time investors. This research helped shape a more intuitive app experience, addressing these pain points through clear navigation, guided investment options, and automated financial tools.
Wireframes
Initial wireframes were developed based on user insights, focusing on a clean, structured layout that simplifies the investment process. The design prioritizes ease of use, ensuring users can explore, invest, and track their portfolios with minimal effort. Testing and feedback sessions helped refine the design, ensuring a seamless and engaging investment experience.
Visual Design
Dark & Light mode
TODE was designed with both light and dark modes to provide a flexible and comfortable user experience. The interface focuses on clarity and simplicity, making it easy for users to explore investment opportunities, manage assets, and navigate the platform with confidence. The app also includes a blog with investment news, market insights, and educational content focused on Saudi Arabia, helping users stay informed and make smarter financial decisions.
Design Process
Over 150 screens were designed and developed, covering the entire process from market and user research to idea generation, wireframing, and prototyping. Every step was meticulously planned to create a seamless and intuitive experience, ensuring that the app meets the needs of both beginner and experienced investors. The design process focused on usability, clarity, and functionality, resulting in a well-structured platform that simplifies investment management.
Outcomes
The project was shaped through close collaboration with the client, with continuous feedback and idea validation throughout the design process. Extensive market research helped us better understand the rapidly growing investment landscape and startup ecosystem in Saudi Arabia. From research and ideation to testing and refinements, every stage focused on creating a simple, recognizable, and user-friendly investment experience. The platform continues to evolve through ongoing improvements and new feature development based on user needs and market trends.
